Railz! is a casual puzzle game suitable for all ages. The game is easy to learn, but if you want to get high scores, you will find that it requires quite a bit of strategy...
The objective in this game is to complete "loops" of railway tracks by moving pieces around on the board. To move a tile, first select it by clicking on it, then click on any empty space to move it. If you complete a loop, the tiles will be removed and you will score. The bigger the loop, the more points you get (the score scales exponentially with the size of the loop to reward risk taking).
Each time you move a tile on the board, another new tile will take its place. The next tile is shown at the right hand side of the game screen.
Tiles denoted with a dollar sign are special Bonus Tiles that cannot be moved once placed on the board, but they are worth three tiles for the purpose of scoring (if included in a loop).
In this version of the game, you can choose to play with or without time limit. If you choose to play without time limit, you will be given 48 replacement tiles but you can play slowly and carefully. If you choose to play with time limit, you are given 5 minutes initially and you get extra time for each loop you complete.
